FAQ

Q. What does it mean to be a mobile, concierge-style business?

A. Simply put, it means that we come to you instead of you coming to us. Instead of coming into a clinic, the therapist that you are working with can meet you at your home, workplace, gym, park, etc. This saves you time and allows you to spend more time doing the things you enjoy. Convenience at its best!

Q. Why choose movement pursuit?

A. We believe in empowering our clients. Whether you are having pain or just had surgery, we are not going to tell you that you can’t do something. We will work together to find solutions in order for you to reach your goals. When it comes to health and fitness, we believe that it should be proactive and not reactive. This means that you don’t have to wait to come see us until you have pain or an injury; we strive to keep you pain-free and injury-free before it occurs. We are uniquely trained to meet your needs by combining our skills and knowledge in rehabilitation as well as performance training.

Q. What can i expect prior to and during my session?

A. Once you submit an inquiry, Dr. Brian Lee will get back to you within 24 hours via phone or email to discuss your needs and goals. From there, we will schedule a time and place for the initial session. If you are being seen for physical therapy, you can expect a full comprehensive assessment/examination during your initial evaluation to determine what is causing you pain or dysfunction. We believe in getting to the root cause of your symptoms and not just masking the symptoms. For clients seeking sports performance, we will discuss your goals and come up with a specific training program to target the demands of your sport.

Q. Do you take my insurance?

A. We are solely a cash-based practice meaning we do not contract with insurance companies. However, it is possible to be reimbursed by your insurance company. We can help you with filing proper paperwork. The reason for this is because insurance companies can often place limitations on how you receive care. Because of the structure of our company, we are able to work with clients one-on-one for at least an hour (if needed) every session. This means that you will be working with a doctor of physical therapy and not delegated to an assistant or aide. Due to this individualized attention, we are able to get you better faster, meet your goals, and get you back to doing the things you love. If you have any questions, please contact us and we would be glad to assist you.

Q. What are your rates?

A. Because we offer a variety of services, prices/rates may vary depending on your specific needs. Please feel free to contact us to inquire about cost and packages that we offer.

Q. Do i need a referral from my physician?

A. Georgia has limited direct access which means that you can come directly to a physical therapist without a referral from a physician or specialist up to a certain number of visits. This applies to those seeking physical therapy services. If you are looking to see us for sports performance, training, or recovery, this does not apply to you as there are no restrictions to you receiving these services.
